9 Days / 8 Nights in Cuba!
January 10th - 18th, 2020

Join Stony Brook University School of Journalism during its return to Cuba!
This trip offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to report from a country that for decades has been practically off-limits to Americans. This experience will bolster any resume, as we travel from historic Havana to the countryside cigar farms, before closing our journey covering the history of the slave trade in the middle of the island.

Cuba has a deep history of conflict and misunderstanding with the United States, yet remains the safest country in the hemisphere for foreign visitors. We’ll meet small business owners, diplomats, journalists, farmers, artists, musicians and more as we document the country as it faces its most uncertain future since the revolution.
